Although Carol was a traditional advertising art rep, technology was always a part of her core business. Many of her clients were in incubator technology fields like cable and telephony.
In 1992, Carol’s team was enlisted to work with a core of XT architecture developers on visual content for the 1st annual report on a CD ROM for Oracle. That same year the team developed a interactive visual presentation on a floppy disk for HP at Comdex, which simulated scanner technologies all developed in a beta version of MacroMedia.
In 1997 Carol as a initial partner along with her team played a integral part of asset development for Technology Based Learning Systems. This innovation enabled corporations to train employees remotely on PCs with media rich CDs. Combined with integrated training and testing procedures, this technology met the demands of cumberson compliance issues for HASMAT/HASCOM.

After attending the Art Center of Pasadena, Scott started his career as a freelance professional photographer in 1997. Shooting for advertising clients, Scott has come to understand what is expected when working with fortune 100 companies - such as Westin Hotels, Quintess Resorts, Ceasar Palce Las Vegas, Norman Shutters and CaesarStone counters, to be able to work under pressure and still be able to deliver the goods, no matter what comes up. When things change on a moment’s notice, being able to adapt only comes from experience.
In late 2007 Scott moved into shooting motion films. Always aware of the current and upcoming trends, Scott shifted his focus to the digital media signage business. In Jan 2008 he started Motion & Visuals a digital media group that focused on digital signage in the retail / corporate environment. A inovative success in a local market with ad revenues.
When digital imaging became prominent in 2002, it created the need to store and archive digital files. Unfamiliar with this model, clients were concerned about managing their digital files. Scott created a system for his clients which enabled them to store their images on hard drives. In 2008, Carol and Scott created their first digital library with the innovative feature of being able to access it remotely. Carol had spent the previous year developing and testing proprietary software. There were more than 8000 images photographed at 200 locations in 11 states. This customized digital library enabled their client, agency and venders with permissions to access track and manage all these visual assets remotely. Carol and Scott and the ArtAgent team were able to achieve that in less than four months.
This was just the first of numerous businesses facing the same challenge. With mergers and acquisitions now being commonplace, there is an ever-increasing demand for Carol and Scott’s expertise. Outsourcing of marketing and advertising and continuous introduction of new technologies heighten the demand for restructuring the way corporations store and manage their visual assets. Carol and Scott have developed solutions unique to each client for addressing this problem. Businesses need to keep their visual assets current, accessible, expandable, and secure.
Visual Assets Management Solutions (VAMS) was created to address the corporate need for visual asset management in an atmosphere where conditions are rapidly, and consistently changing.
